Alkanex is a Telegram bot for trading Alkanes tokens on Bitcoin L1. These terms cover your use of the bot and this documentation. They are short on purpose. By creating a wallet or using Alkanex, you agree to them.
What you confirm when you create a wallet
- You have read and accept these Terms of Service.
- Alkanex is non-KYC. You trade at your own risk.
- You will back up your recovery phrase. We cannot recover it for you.
- Trades carry a platform fee of up to 1%.
Using Alkanex
Alkanex gives you a way to trade Alkanes from inside Telegram. It is a tool you operate: you decide what to trade and when. It is not a broker, an exchange, or an investment adviser.
Eligibility
You are responsible for making sure you are allowed to use Alkanex where you live, and that trading these assets is legal for you. Do not use Alkanex if it is restricted for you.
Non-KYC and your own risk
There are no identity checks. Trading Alkanes tokens and Bitcoin is volatile and can result in loss, up to your full amount. Prices move, pools can be thin, and a trade can revert. You make your own decisions and accept that risk.
Wallets, keys, and backup
Alkanex is custodial by default: it holds an encrypted copy of your recovery phrase so it can sign for you, which is what makes the one-tap experience work. You can reveal that phrase at any time and take full self-custody.
Because only you can hold the backup, we cannot recover or reset your phrase. Keep it safe, and keep your Telegram account secure. Anyone with your phrase controls your funds.
Fees
Trades carry a platform fee of up to 1%. On-chain actions also pay the normal Bitcoin network fee. Both are shown before you confirm a trade.
On-chain actions and third parties
Alkanex builds and broadcasts Bitcoin transactions for you, but it does not control the Bitcoin network, the Alkanes protocol, liquidity pools, bridges, or market prices. Once a transaction confirms on-chain it is final and cannot be reversed.

Nothing in the bot or these docs is financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. Prices, routes, and previews are estimates to help you decide. They are not a recommendation.
Service availability
Alkanex is provided as is and as available. Features can change, pause, or be removed, and we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free service.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Alkanex and its operators are not liable for losses that come from market moves, network conditions, a lost or shared recovery phrase, or third-party services outside our control. Nothing here removes rights you have that cannot be waived under the law that applies to you.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Alkanex grows. If we make a meaningful change, we will note it here. Continuing to use Alkanex after an update means you accept the new version.
